Is it OK to stop taking the Pill mid-cycle?
I just recently started back on the Pill--I'm about a week half into my second packet. I'm having tons of side effects, including getting super sick to my stomach every afternoon, so much so that it is extremely difficult to function at work. I can't get through to my OB/GYN--he's out of town until next week. I want to quit the Pill now, but am afraid of any adverse reaction to just quitting in the middle...
I don't even need it for birth control... my husband and I would be happy if I were pregnant. My doc is trying to help me get my endometriosis under control--but I feel I am more functional dealing with the endo pain than the nausea and vomiting caused by the Pill. Thanks for the advice so far!

The only reaction you will have is having your period again, due to the supression of the pill.
It has no other side effects to make to you, I quit my bc pills in the middle cause I felt terrible, all that happened was my period about two days after quiting the pill.
If you don´t feel good with it change it.
Good luck! ;D

You can quit mid-cycle. I have done it before. You will probably get your period early, and you'll have to use a backup method. And your hormones may be a little out of whack for a couple of weeks. But, there shouldn't be any adverse effects of quitting early.

I'm pretty sure it's ok to stop taking it whenever, but don't have unprotected sex without another form of birth control, since you'd no longer be protected if you stop taking the pill.

you'll just start your period sooner, possibly have 2 that month.
Just stop.
