Hi, yoga is good for carpal tunnel but some of the poses need to be modified. Here is a site which can explain it more. It has a lot of other useful yoga info as well. Wish you the best

Learn how to pulse your wrists, it's more of a Taoist practice, but it exists in yoga too. I've seen it reverse cases deemed lost causes.
Besides that, the biggest requirement to fix carpal tunnel is to reduce the repetitive strain. So if you know what you are doing with your hands is creating carpal tunnel, it's better to avoid the activity than try to fix it and strain at the same time. Getting the blood flow and energy flow back into the wrists is one of the main things to aim for as well (if you don't know how to do the body practices). I've found the best way to do this involves soaking your wrists (and if it's spread to the shoulders those as well) in hot water, and putting the damage places over hot tub jets.
Hope all of that helps! Carpal tunnel surgery is actually not a very good way to fix the condition....sad as it might seem.
