In what ways have American eating habits changed in the last decade?

Do you think Americans eat healthier or not? Are they more calorie aware and nutritionally aware?

the general population do not care about what they are eating. those who have been exposed to nutritional material such as taken classes, are much healthier. over the past decade, americans consume more saturated fat, cholesterol, trans fat and sodium. which all contibute to heart problems and a lot of other serious diseases that can be prevented by diet

Americans are a disaster. The food most Americans consume is a health hazard. It is so easy to go to the drive- up window and get a super size these days. People are lazy and don't take the time to eat healthy meals. Most people are overweight either slightly or just plain obese. It is for sure that way here in Ohio. It may be different in other states, but I just take a look around me walking into work and cannot believe just how big people are.

So no people are not calorie aware and for sure not nutritionally aware

American's have increased their fast food consumption, especially carbohydrates, the #1 cause of obesity. Definitely less healthier and less aware.
