How does Trust, Respect & Consideration tie into each other?

I'm trying to do a group with youth and my topic is Trust, Respect and Consideration. I know the definitions for them, but I would like some other input on what you think it means!

Thanks <>:-)

I believe all 3 are extremely important factors in relationships.

Trust is difficult, especially in today's society where people get betrayed every day. However, it is still important in building relations of any sort for both sides to trust each other. What kind of friends second guess everything the other person says or does? Not to mention it'll no doubt hurt the feelings of the guy being wrongly mistrusted. Sometimes, it pays to put yourself out there and be the one to trust. While it may hurt alot, the times it works are well worthit.

Respect is something everyone feels instinctively. Unfortunately its also one of the most overlooked things. We make jokes and tease each other so often sometimes we fail to notice that we've crossed the line. Noone likes to be put down. Even with our parents or teachers, who we actually do respect, sometimes we're rude or just plain fail to show any sign of it.

Consideration means making decisions and choices so that others are not inconvenienced. In a society where everyone is selfish, this is again hard to do.

Basically all 3 require people to take the first step. "Do onto others what you would have them do onto you". If you show others trust, respect and consideration, it'll only be natural for them to reciprocate. It may be tough, but at the end of the day it'll be well worthit
