I think in the Laundry room you might want to do something that relates to something you like.....We spend so much time there.......I have Bird houses in mine and I have seen Sunflowers used in the muted tones......Also you can find signs in country deco stores that say Laundry .5c. and If you look in old antique stores you might find old wash boards.....Also ..If the room is Big enough add an old wash tub...replicas can be found everywhere.....In your Sewing room.....I think I would keep things coordinated and functional..In a lot of pattern books you will see organizers...Keep your Curtains and all of your things coordinated...Have a sewing rocker(no arms) in there for your hand work..........And last.......Good music......Inspiration..Have a Blast...................
