I have a recipe for chocolate making that calls for parafin wax,

I have bought a box of it but it doesn't say if it's safe to eat, to all you candy and chocolate makers out there is there a brand that I should look for ? Is there a special wax for candy making alone? All that I have found at the grocery store was in the canning department is Parowax and I wonder if this one is only to be used as a seal on preserves , I need to melt the chocolates and the wax together so it will be alarge amount to roll the chocolates into I would appreciate all the help that I could get! Is it right when a daughter or son that are expecting do not call their parents to tell them that they are on their way to the hospital to have a baby ,and call them the next day to give them the news that the baby is born?

And yet, they have their friends over at the hospital ahead of them to take the first glance at their baby instead of their parents or grand parents?
