Where to find a firewall?

I cant install dirct x (so I cant play real arcade) I think its probably because of a firewall? how would I check?

    Go to your control panel and check the firewalls installed. From http://secureity.com/

    This depends on the firewall.. if you have Service Pack 2, it might have come with Norton Internet Security, might want to check in there. But a quick way to see it is to go through the programs in the taskbar (bottom right hand corner).. a firewall loads at startup, so that would be the first place I would look.

    www.downloads.com and www.cnet.com are two good sites for downloads of all programs
