It's a genetic thing. Nothing to worry about. Many pins get this. I have a two year old chocolate who is starting to get them on the sides of her head.
Sometimes when they have a scrape or a small injury, the hair grows back white as well.
Many people don't know that there is a white gene in all pins. It is recessive, and there have actually been all white minpins-not many, because they are very unhealthy. I suppose you could compare it to an albino gene.
We call our dogs white hairs wisdom hairs.
