  • I need some help coming up with a Halloween Costume...any ideas?

I have a party to go to on Saturday night and it is a costume party. I want to create a tasteful costume without having to spend $80.00. I would like to stay around $20.00. Does anyone know of a great costume or a cute idea? I am a 25 year old female so I wouldn't want to walk into the party dressed like a pricncess or a fairy. And like I said, I want to keep it tasteful. Thanks ya'll and have a good evening.

  • My newly adopted dog will not eat dog food!!?

I just adopted a dog and he refuses to eat his dog food. He got a bout of pancreatitus and he was really dehydrated. All he wants to eat is chicken soup with rice. The vet said this is ok. However, does anyone know of a soft dog food (he won't eat solid dog food obviously) that is good for dogs who are prone to digestive problems?

  • Does any one know what Metronidazole does and its role in curing pancreatitus in puppies?

I have been advised to give my new adopted puppy 125mg of Metronidazole to help with his bout of pancreatitus. Harley and I are going to the vet on Saturday morning to get a check up and to see why his pancreatitus has returned. I was told that it could be due to stress of a new owner, a new home, new food. I haven't fed him anything out of the ordinary. Any one know about this drug and how it works?

  • I just adopted a dog and within the first few days he had blood coming out of his anus? What could this be?

He is a small dog (Min Pin) and I am really worried that he has something serious. I contacted the adoption agency and rather than take him to the vet, they wanted to watch him and see if it got better with medications. A few days before I adopted him, after the initial interview, the representative dropped him off to me at our "puppy date" place (when you adopt a dog you have little meet ups to see if they are the right "fit" for you) and she told me that he had pancreatitus a few days prior. I googled it and I haven't been able to find ANYWHERE that blood in his stool (it wasn't solid people) is a symptom of pancreatitus. Now, he is back at the adpotion place and they still haven't taken him to the vet, but they are telling me his stool solid now and he is eating...but he got bitten by another dog. So, is this really pancreatitus or something else. I just don't want to make a commitment to keep the dog and then something bad happen to him. He was a $150.00 investment.
