    The device is called Differential Lock or Diff. Lock for short. Indead this lock all wheels are always doing something. Most ATVs and UTVs have diff locks also. Hope this helped and vote for me please.

    It is called the differential lock. It locks the axles together where one wheel can't spin while the other just sets there and does nothing. It is sometimes called positive traction as well.
