I have a Hp Pavilion 7915 and running 382 MB of RAM, and I was wondering if I can put a 256 MB DDR 266 MHz ram chip in the place of a 128 MB DIMM 133 MHz ram chip. The 256 MB DDR chip is from my old Dell desktop and was wondering if I could put the old one in my working Hp desktop. Please Help!!

I installed Internet Explorer 8 and when the laptop rebooted i went onto the interent and when i type something into the address bar it comes up saying requested lookup key was not found. So i then went to system restore and found that the calender was blank so i couldn't restore. I have done the registry thing and have turned off system restore and restarted it. Plese help anyone
