Farming wage?

what is the best wage for working on a farm, but i'm 15 and just starting. Also the farmer is going to show me how to do chores. so what would the best wage be.

    minimum wage. if you do a very good job, maybe later in the summer he will give you a raise.

    Minimum wage is probably what you will most likely get. Not many agricultural situations allow for farmers to pay more than that for kids doing the chores. I don't know what state you are in so I can't give you anymore advice. Here in California you MAY get away with asking for $8 a hour ($7.25 is minimum wage).

    Think of this beginning as an experience and unless you need the money to support your family, don't be picky. Learn all you can while you can.

    A lot of farmers I know pay what they deem reasonable, and most of it is 'under the counter' so to speak. Really depends on where you are from
