For me its a tie between the scene you mention and the other extremely tear-jerking moment in the same movie -- when Timothy Hutton has his final emotional break-through moment with Judd Hirsch and asks Hirsch if he'll be his friend. "I am. Count on it." And Hutton starts sobbing on Hirsch's shoulder.

T'wards the end of Phenomenon when John Travolta turns to Kyra Sedgwick and says "It's Happening" and she breaks down crying. Or a tie for the #1 place, in What Dreams May Come when Robin Williams wife was out at his grave site and he is watching her, when she breaks down and begins SCREAMING in sadness. That made me cry.....

Return to Me has me crying from the beginning (my mom had a heart transplant)
Untamed Heart when Christian Slater's character says, "But this is my heart! I'm afraid that if they take it away I won't be able to love you the same."
And Legends of the Fall. I cry all the way through that movie.

It's the scene in "Steel Magnolias" where Sally Field desperately tries to bring daughter Julia Roberts out of a coma. It was the last movie I cried at.

I love the part in "Before Sunset" (sequel to "Before Sunrise") where the 2 characters are in the car driving to her place and they're talking about where their lives are now. Gets me every time.
Also love "City of Angels" near the end when Seth (Nicholas Cage) says "I would rather have had one breath of her hair, one kiss from her mouth, one touch of her hand, than eternity without it. One." SIGH!

then ending of " The Pursuit of Happiness" when they are telling Will Smith to come back cause he got the job and you can see him get choked up and hold back his tears . Thats scene kills me, no other actor could have possibly did that scene better
