I have an embarrassing question there---I regretted asking it as soon as I posted it. How can I go into my profile and delete it? Thanks.

IF IT'S STILL AN OPEN QUESTION, GO TO THE CONCERNED QUESTION AND CLICK ON THE PENCIL ICON AND CHOOSE DELETE.
IF IT'S ALREADY RESOLVED OR GONE INTO VOTING, I AM AFRAID YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING ANYMORE.

You can't if it has already been resolved. Yahoo stopped giving people that option a few months back. Now they are the only ones who can delete them.
If it isn't resolved then click on that plus sign under your avatar when you are at the question. It will give you the option of deleting.

Resolved questions cannot be deleted. Report them on another account. Like yahoo! even cares!
