Will any of the other 48 States ever catch the Carolinas in NASCAR wins and Titles?

Since 1949, a Carolina-born driver has won at least one race each season. That streak is in jeopardy in 2007.

34 Carolina-born drivers have:

Total wins: 981

Total Titles: 33

Since most drivers move to Carolina that would make each new generation of drivers from Carolina.

Dont think so. Cali has the best chance with Gordon, Johnson, Harvick, and some others.

Yeah California has the top guys right now so who knows maybe it can happen someday.

Never, just one single state, not gonna happen!

California probably would have the best chance.
