You might want to go to the Army Review Board and request that your discharge be upgraded to an Honorable Discharge based on your record after service. I would conduct some type of community service and do some great stuff for the community to convince the board to give you another chance. My friend sits on the boards, and that's what they look for. They look for you to show remorse for your misdeeds while you were in, and some type of proof that you have changed your ways, and that you can be an asset to the service. I recommend making a personal appearance and for you to make your case in front of the board explaining why you should be given an honorable discharge and allowed to reenter the Army. I wish you luck.

...No. There is a code on the certificate that makes it clear that you are not eligible to re-enlist... only an Honorable discharge will let you come back (if you're within time and age limits)...

It really depends on the circumstances. Though if you want to get out, why would you want to come back later. Maybe look at taking extended leave instead.
