Is there a problem with my Zelda game?

I'm playing twilight princess. I'm in the Arbiter's Grounds. I'm in the place where the spikes are coming up and you need to pull the chain to reveal the door. After about 30 seconds Zelda starts walking like hes in the sand but actually he's on land. Is there a problem with the game?

    Heh, that's scaring ya huh? No, this isn't a problem with your game. Go wolf form and use your sense, you'll see what's stopping you (don't wanna spoil that little bit).

    Change into wolf form and you'll see why you're walking like you're in the sand.

    I think the floor there is an illusion, but I haven't played in a while. If its all the floors in the room, then you have one massive glitch.

    There will be invisible rats on you turn into a wolf and use your spin attack to kill them
