Getting a used 55 gallon fish tank ready for sale ....?

It is about one year old.. it has some fairly tough green algae on the glass .. I've taken the water out .. except for the rocks and left-over water/sludge that is left at the bottom of the tank. I have heard that White Vinegar is good to use to get the glass clean and will not hurt future fish that live in the tank. Any tips for getting the tank all cleaned up and ready to go ? Thank you ! :)

Nope.Scrub it with a rag and some soapy water..but before you fill the tank make sure there is no and I mean no bubbles in the tank. The fish will die instantly.

a good old fashioned nail brush or tooth brush works no soap or vinegar,

if you have a acrylic tank don't use the nail brush as it will scratch the tank glass.

as for cleaning the rocks just use water and a nail brush to clean them up no chemicals

well I think the vinegar would be a good idea, also when I had fish I just used dish soap to clean the tank, it worked well, I just had to make sure I rinsed all the soap out... and sometimes it was hard to get it all out, but If you only use a little then I think it would be better
