What's the point of that? and who the hell buys a single cheeseburger if 1 cent more means more meat?

Obviously, a lot of little girls up there would rather buy their 99 cent single cheeseburger??!!
It's not a very good deal, though...
Burger King had the same kind of problem going... You could get a Whopper Jr. for a buck, but if you wanted the regular Whopper it was almost 3 bucks!!
Well, who in their right mind would pay 3 bucks for a single Whopper when you could get three Whopper Jr.s for the same price??!!!! So, I believe they've brought the price of the regular Whopper down a bit to make it more sensible...

LOL! LMAO! You are so right! When ever McDonald's has the cheeseburgers for 99 cents, I never buy them because I can get the double cheeseburger for one cent more. But, it actually isn't a bad idea because kids can't eat a whole double cheeseburger so it's a deal for moms who are in a hurry going through the drive thru with their kids in the car.

I've been asking this same question for a while now. It's a little crazy to buy the single cheeseburger when the double is only a penny more. If you don't want to eat the whole thing then don't but why not pay the extra penny in case you decide you are a little bit hungrier then you had thought.

McDonalds likes make that extra penny? I don't know. I get the double cheeseburger most of the time. Sometimes I only eat half, and save the rest for later. If you microwave it in the wrapper, turning it over half way through, it saves well.

Thats a hard question!Maybe a lot of ppl would be grossed out by two pattys and mcDonalds thinks the consumer wont mind paying a penny less for a single.
