Yes I understand your question. Since Henry the eighth the head of the church of England has been the ruling King or Queen of England. Now that other religions such as Muslims have build places of worship (ie) large mosques the English Church's are much smaller than these. So what you are asking is should they be? I for one don't think the other religions should not be able to build larger churches than the christian ones.

Good Question. The Church or England, of Scotland and in Wales is the established church of this country. The Catholic church has long been denied any kind of equality, seems a bit off that any others should be physically bigger.

COE is the national religion. It doesn't matter what other religions do, the point is they recieve no additional help from the government. Church of England, or the Anglican faith is a state supported religion, meaning tax dollars could be used to build a big church if it was deemed necessary.

The Church of England/Anglican church is one of the richest organisations in the world - if it wants bigger churches they can if they pay for it and do not ask me to contribute through taxes etc. But I think that this should apply to all religions. We are a secular country and taxes should not be used to finance religion.

Are the churches of other religions not big enough then?
I don't see many congregations spilling out in the street on a Sunday morning.
You'll be able to go to church online soon.

I do not really see what you are getting at. What difference does the size of a church make? C of E churches are far more numerous than other churches. It does not make any church better if it is larger or more extravagant.

Its a historic tradition to the reigning monarch that the king or queen is head of the church. If you look at the current monarch her family is not a very good shinning example of the faith she represents.

Why the hell would a christian country need other religions?Lets all go to a strict muslim country and tell them we want to build a church, they would be delighted to let us.........NOT

if more people went to church, then yes, we should build bigger churches, but as the congregation levels are falling, it hardly seems worth wasting money, not just on construction, but also on running costs, heating etc.
