On paper these teams are on an even playing field. Two great QB's, great receiving corp. with good running backs. It's hard to find a flaw in their teams, so who gets the edge. November 4 will be a heck of a game in Indy. The winner gets the upper hand for home field advantage in the AFC Championship game, as these will be the participants in that game.
I think the Colts win in November, but the Colts won't go 16-0. This will be the only game the Pats will lose on their way to the Super Bowl, as Indy doesn't play well in NE is the January cold.
I personally like Peyton & the Colts a little better.

the 6-0 or 5-0
Source(s): sorry, had to...but seriously..the Pats. Barely lost to the Colts last year....and are so much upgraded this year....Moss, Welker, Stallworth...the list goes on. - TabiLv 41 decade ago
I am a pats fan so i am of course going to say the Patriots. To be honest I don't have a real reason other than I have been a fan since I was little and started watching. I have always been a fan through there wins and losses, and the whole cheating scandal and I will remain fan for as long as I watch football. I am not goin to just like a team because they win, but thats just me. well anyway I feel like The colts are a great team and when they play the Patriots it is definetly going to be a great game.
Source(s): Patriots #1 :) - stanley lLv 51 decade ago
the pats are better. receiving threats might actually be better than those of the colts. plus harrison and addai aren't 100% for the colts. pats have the clear edge. brady is clutch. moss is being the moss of old. the defense has been steady unlike the colts'. adalius thomas is showing that he was worth the money. the oldies or LBs of the pats are playing like they're young again. the offensive line is hugely underrated. morris is a decent fill in for maroney.

The colts, they have a great head coach who does not need to cheat. They also have had a mush harder schedule then new england this year (aside from Dallas). Peyton Manning is finally over the hump of winning the superbowl and ohh yeah they beat the pats TWICE last year.
Dungy can find away to shut down moss.

Colts. Much improved D to go with that offense. They'll be tough to beat, even for the Pats.

Pats, they have a great crew of receivers, strong O line and the most accurate QB in the league. The Colts don't have as much depth.

I like the Indianapolis Colts better than the New England Patriots. Peyton Manning is a star and with his receiving will really help him with the rest of the season. Randy Moss and Tom Brady are still awesome, though.

pats...
bellacheat is a coaching genius first of all, not trying to take away from tony d, but i think this part is clear cut.
brady is ice in big games, i think peyton is a better quarterback but it seems that the big games sometimes get to him
pats have depth in the running game, not right now due to injuries but even down to only FB's, Faulk is one of the best in the nation.
pats have a more consistant D....the colts D turned on at the end of the year and have kept it going, but for how long?
and finally, the pats have an arsenal of weapons in the passing game...obviously the colts do too, but i dont think we've even seen half of what the pats can do in passing....
i rest my case

The patriots. I think just because the colts won the super bowl last year, it still is a long way for peyton manning to go to prove that he doesn't choke under pressure. ( not to mention he's missing marvin harrison and joseph addai )
