Why did Esther burn the scrolls in the library with Haman in the movie "One Night with the King"?

I may just NOT be getting it because it's late, but after Esther sees Haman leading his rally, she is seen in the library reading a bunch of scrolls. Can someone explain this scene and its connection to the rally before it? I didn't quite catch what she was trying to do. And Haman only confused me further when he came into the library and then she burns a scroll? She says she burned is because it was evidence? Why and what was it evidence for? Thanks!

Update:

It is after she becomes queen and she sneaks in to see the rally led by Haman.
