Would it be weird to ask my boyfriend what kind of lingerie he'd like me to wear?

Most guys like the lingerie that you wear under regular clothes, that is super sexy. Almost all guys go crazy over stockings and garterblets, because they don't get in the way, and they are very feminine. I would get a bar, garter belt ans some really silky sheer stockings with a matching g-string or bikini and wear it out with my clothes. Cami's are sexy if worn as dressy top, if they are very silky, and they work better with the nylons and garter belt with them. Most guys fav colors are black and red

You know the added benefit to asking is that he will spend the rest of the day thinking about you waiting at home for him wearing it.

Just make sure to ask on the day you plan to surprise him. Perhaps call him while he's on lunch or on his way to work, and seductively tease him and tell him you want to do something special for him tonight, then give him some choices, he'll tell you exactly what he wants. ;)

That's not weird at all, my boyfriend comes with me sometimes when I buy mine so he can help pick out what he likes.

You can ask him, and then put a little signature spin on whatever it is he tells you. A special color, print, add something extra special.
