33 weeks and pains?
I keep getting Pelvic Pains and odd pains around my tummy. Yesterday I had an awful cramping feeling like a period cramp for about ten minutes. Its not braxton hicks as there is no tightening and I know its not supposed to hurt. Any ideas?

I wouldnt stress too much its probably just babys head engaging in to your pelvis ready to be delivered. And your womb getting ready to push the litlle one out! as long as baby is still making regular movements and your not bleeding you should be fine . If your really concerend talk to your midwife.

I'm 35 weeks and I get the same.
I get menstrual cramp feeling all the time, or even worse.
My pelvic hurts aswell, seeing as my babys head is down below, I think he's engaging into the rightful place.
Not very comfortable thats for sure.
Like some people say, if this really concerns you, your midwife is a telephone call away, call him/her and just ask, don't feel silly if she saids it's nothing to worry about, she/he gets that all the time.
It's better to be a concerned mother than just leaving it.

I know this will probably sound daft but i used to suffer with trapped wind in the last 10 wks of pregnancy, sometimes it would wake me in the middle of the night, and i would be crawling around on my hands and knees in so much pain, then about 15-30 minutes later it had gone, just as quick as it came.
Im not saying it is the same thing, and it would probably be just as well for you to speak to your midwife just for some advice and reasurance.

Random pains are common in pregnancy. Unless they get very severe, last for a long time or are accompanied by bleeding or heavy discharge don't worry too much. The pains might be because of stretching of the uterus or perhaps just because of the position of the baby. I you are worried though, contact your midwife or doctor.
