Achilles tendenitis, can anybody tell me how to treat it?
Whenever I exercise, running or hard walking, my achilles tendon flares up and becomes very sore. It will stay that way for weeks. I makes exercising very difficult. I need to be able to continue exercising without having to worry about this tendenitis.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

you might have an imbalance some where like in your foot step. you might want to buy a shoe that help with that or some type of insole possibly.

You cant. You need plenty of rest. Was it a trauma that caused the flare up? You should see a podiatrist, you may have a structural problem in your foot that causes the strain on your achilles which they will be able to help with.
