Uganda to live; Kenya and Tanzania have more organised/established tourist routes so easier to visit though Uganda has as much to see just undiscovered. Have lived in all three and the people are definitely friendliest in Uganda. English speaking wise - Uganda and Kenya are tops - Tanzania is well behind.

Either will do due to every iniqueness from the other. Kenya and Tanzania are placed on a more advantageous position coz has got almost all tourism products such as Mountains, game viewing and beach. But with Kenya as a major conference centre in Africa and as an International headquaters for various organizations among them United Nations, it can be rated best. Though Uganda is a landrock country we cannot outlook gorrilla tracking which the other two does not have.

On the visitor's point of view they call the part of Tanzania you are about to visit the Southern Circuit

The sheer vastness of southern Tanzania makes for some spectacular game viewing and superb African vistas. An additional benefit of a visit to the southern circuit is the remoteness of the location, which means that most visitors rarely see another car during their long game drives. Whereas wildlife and big game are the focus of the northern circuit, a trip to the parks of southern Tanzania allows visitors to learn in-depth knowledge about complex ecosystems and diverse living creatures that are usually skimmed over in more crowded areas. A visit to the southern circuit is a trip into an unexplored and wild Africa.

There are still national parks in the south Ruaha National Park, Kitulo Plateau National Park, Katavi National Park and Mahale Mountains National Park

On the southern Swahili Coast, the little-visited old town Mikimazi is a good base for diving explorations and trips to the abandoned ruins of the ancient Swahili trading post. The old German boma in Mkomazi is also a historical site of interest

Or since you are taking scholars you can experience the rift valley from Lake Malawi, lake Rukwa and Lake Tanganyika.

Remember a leaf of grass is no less than a journey of a thousand miles. What you will see in the southern circuit will actually outnumber the volumes of the wildebeest in the Northern circuit.

all the three east african countries are good but the best to visit for an experience you will never forget is definately KENYA. it is more developed than uganda and tanzania, infact the other 2 cxountries look upto kenya. economiwise it is also better so if you come from europe or asia or america, you will still feel at home. it is also a beautiful country with animals, beaches, big cities like nairobi, kisumu, mombasa etc

It has to be Kenya! Iam not saying this because am kenyan but life in Kenya is good especially If you choose to live in the urban areas - nairobi, mombasa, Kisumu or Eldoret. More developed than the other two countries so easy to travel around, modern technology in communication, and friendly people. We have hyper supermarkets that stores everything - both local and imported stuff. The people are also well educated - easy to communicate with everybody in English even with 'mama mboga' - the lady who sells vegetables. Entertainment is plenty - night clubs, casinos, disco joints - even churches of various denominations. We have several TV stations and radio stations. There is something for everyone. Please come!
