Kid Nation Junkies...?

What did you think of Taylor losing her town counsel spot, and were you surprised Mike received no votes???

Update:

Mike got one vote, but I suspect it was his own.

Ding Dong the Witch is Dead !!

Perhaps Taylor and her parents will learn something from her town council defeat. At least lets hope !!

I was surprised Mike only received 1 vote.

But it does kinda make sense he was in charge of the whole town more of less and that can lead to resentment even it you are doing a good job. It's just a rebellion against authority.

But he may learn a thing or two himself in the long run.

It's a great show and I think it really is teaching all the kids participating and watching a lot. And hopefully some of there parents as well.

I saw it for the first time the other day. I don't know what has been going on but I liked the show. It did seem like it was time for Taylor to go. I can't remember the boys name that replaced her but I liked him. Mike received 1 vote. I was especially surprised that even in the face of loosing the kids where supportive of their competitors.

Thank goodness Taylor lost her council position to Zach. That girl let "power" go to her head and she is extremely lazy. Maybe with Zach being the yellow teams "leader" they will all be more productive.

I don't know if the red team made the right decision. Mike could be annoying and somewhat bossy but they were doing well. I don't know that Guylan has a clue how to be a leader. I haven't really seen him step up and do anything before he decided that he wanted to run for council. Maybe it is just that they haven't showed him a lot on camera or maybe he really hasn't been all that productive yet. Maybe he will prove me wrong though.

I was glad to see her voted off. She's obviously a cocky over privileged little brat and she got on my nerves. She was a terrible leader too. She didn't do anything and got mad when people asked her to actually pitch in. I think the only reason she was made a council person in the first place was to cause controversy and make the show a little more interesting. As for Mike, I felt really bad for him. He seems like a bit of a geek but he was doing a good job, and was nice enough. He looked devastated by the results. I think he would've taken it slightly better had he gotten SOME votes .....but he got like one....which he probably cast himself, if they were allowed to vote as well .....that was just sad. I think he was expecting to win because he assumed people liked him. Apparently he was wrong, poor kid.

Taylor lost her spot - YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was hoping to see her cry again, and she came close, but no luck. I can't wait till next week when the new Yellow leader says they won't get paid if they don't work.

Mike - Good and bad that he is no longer on the council, but he was a bit overbearing which is why he was voted out. If he could learn to control that part of it he would do a good job.

I think Anjay is worthless as a leader. I haven't seen him do much of anything that's worth keeping him as a leader. CBS, prove me wrong...

It's a shame there weren't better people running against Red and Blue Council. I don't know if Guylan will do a good job or not, and I don't think Olivia was ready to be a leader, but Anjay needs to go!

Way to go GREEN for keeping the whole team happy!!!!

I was very surprised. Gaylin is not going to do a good job, he is too young and inexperienced. Since he has been home schooled his whole life he might do what works for him and no one else. Mike did a good job and should,d have gotten more credit. As for Taylor she should have lost her job. She was lazy and never did anything to help the town. And her famous quote "deal with it" was getting old. She needed a reality check and now i think she will get one. Zach will be a great leader and help the town a lot. I was happy Oliva lost becuase she is just annoying and wouldn't benifit the town. THe concil shold work well now with taylor off it.

I was so glad to see Taylor loose her power. She made some smart decisions as a council member. She was also a smart leader during the events, but overall she was a bad rolemodel for her team. I'm glad they voted her lazzy butt off council.

As for Mike, I feel sorry for the kid. I'm sure he only lost because he wasn't involved in politics like the others. Rather than advertising and asking people to vote for him, he chose to keep to himself.

I'm just glad Anjay got to keep his spot. Olivia seemed really annoying and manipulative; it sucks that she was able to get her sister a gold star in an earlier episode; I thought that star was wasted on her sister.
