The sad truth is most Americans don't even know what is happening to their rights and freedoms. It's a creeping fascism that has been coming on slowly over time. There's too many police chases and Paris Hiltons on TV for anyone to even be interested in politics and government. They assume someone(the government) will take care of everything and not to worry. They assume the TV god will tell them who to vote for, how to dress, what to eat, what to think and most importantly who to be afraid of.
They are sheeple being led to the slaughter and they don't even know it. Wake-up America!!
