How can you retain shared folders in Windows 2003?

We are using a SAN to host our networked drives. Whenever the SAN disconnects and reconnects the shared folder information does not return. Yet, we have to recreate permissions on 20 folders. There must be a solution to this!

It depends on which SAN device you are using. There is likely a setting in the SAN management software.
