Did you ever notice how Furyk uses a double-overlap grip?

I've tried it and it feels funky, but I can see where he's coming from. Anyone else try that?

He also has a big nose.

Yeah he's got bigger hands though, I think that probably makes it easier. I tried, it didn't work for me at all. The single overlap does though. The switch from interlock to overlap was really big for me, it really helped me to c0ck and release my hands through my swing. That was something I had a hard time with when I used the interlock. Good luck.

Furyk's swing isn't as unconventional as people would have you believe. He starts his backswing toward the outside but moves inside at the top of his swing. From the top of his swing through his follow-through is very conventional.

There's a bunch that's goofy about his swing, maybe that's what makes watching him so enjoyable.

Regarding the double-overlap, I also find it to be uncomfortable, but if I played as much as he does, I'd probably get used to it!

Yes that's why hes my favorite golfer. It is believed that it gives him more power and focus on the ball. Ive tried it at the driving range and its pretty weird. But I actually think its good to have your own swing
