nevada city,ca and grass valley, ca?

does anyone know if they have areas of falls trees that are away from residential areas? I have a project coming up where I have to take pictures of fall trees with no man made objects in the image. Anyone know these areas well? thank you. oh and I'm hoping to be in the area tomorrow afternoon.

Any trees here that are not some sort of evergreen were planted their during the gold rush and later times, so almost every colorful tree there is near buildings or housing areas. I would try hiking down Independence Trail or Empire Mine (which does have man-made structures).

    Happy tree hunting!

You could find a place to take pictures that have very limited man made objects in view and then Photoshop them out of the image yourself or with the help of an expert.

That way you don't have to travel as far.

Take the images at the maximum resolution your cam can handle so that after the manipulation they can be scaled down slightly and only an expert could tell there were corrections made to them
