Wii criticism?
I know a lot of people criticize the Wii, saying it is not intense enough, is for kids, etc. However i have never seen anyone who owns a Wii say any of those things.
Do any Wii owners agree with those statements, or is it all just talk of die hard Microsoft and Sony fans.
thank you, Jeseth, but you ar just proving my point, YOU do not own a Wii so what you are saying does not answer my question.

I have a Wii, and guess what, I'm playing right now! I've had it for a few months and I think that it's a TRUE next-gen system. Nintendo is taking a different route with this system that Microsoft and Sony would never even think of doing. My friend has a PS3 and Xbox360. He came over to my house one day to play the Wii and he always comes back to play it. He said this exact quote to me,"I am definitely getting a Wii. It's really fun;better than my Xbox & PS3 combined". Now, do you think someone who has played an Xbox & PS3 would actually admit that? I think not. BTW, he has never played an Nintendo system. I admit that the Wii has a few flaws, but the FUN makes up for that.

I agree with your statement wholeheartedly. I have never met anyone with a Wii who thinks that it's "kiddy." The only people I know who have criticized it have never owned it.
There are and will be plenty of "intense" games for the Wii. Plus, the games that are suitable for all ages are still quite challenging. It doesn't take fifty gallons of blood and gore to make a good game.
I am the proud owner of a Wii, and it's providing me with the most fun I've had in a while. But I'm also a die-hard Nintendo fan, so maybe I'm a little biased.

I do own a Wii. It is a GREAT system. It does not have the best graphics, but it has the best game play. Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, Metroid Prime: 3 Corruption, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Scarface, The Godfather, Manhunt 2, etc. Yeah, not many little kids play these games. Trust me the Wii is a great system, it is even getting some more games with online play. Mari Kart: Wii and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I'm sure even more will also be added. =D

I own a Wii, and it's great. People just say that 'cauze they don't have it, and for the games the system has some pretty intense ones, like Zelda and Metroid Prime, Resident Evil, etc. I don't know anyone who has a wii that says those things, and pretty much everyone i know that has actually played the wii likes it.

Well, Im not a kid and I love my Wii and how can they say it is for kids with games like Resident Evil, Scarface, The Godfather, posiibly Manhunt 2 (if it is ever released in the UK), the list goes on. You are right, the only people who have bad things to say about the Wii are people who dont own one!

Die hard Microsoft and Sony fans are just talking smack about the Wii. You know why?
----Because they are lazy idiots who just want to press a couple of buttons instead of doing the actual move. Some lazy people in this world....

My husband and I purchaced a Wii and we love it! So many of our friends, with and without kids, have purchased one after playing ours! It is such a fun, interactive experience that everyone enjoys. For my birthday, we took it to my parents and my little sisters as well as my parents were all playing and having a blast!! Nintendo has produced an incredible product and I am excited about all the games starting to be released with the holidays approching.
Also, I am not ususally a 'gamer' and I love it just as much as my husband who loves to play video games!

My room mate has a Wii and I think it is the worst system in a long time.
Nintendo has sucked since N64.
P.S. I don't own one because my roomate bought it and I played it and it sucks. Would you go out and buy something you played and did not like??? I don't think so.
People who own one don't want to admit they bought a gimmick.
If all 3 systems cost the same amount of money Nintendo would be bankrupt.
