you don't even need Nero. You can use DVD decryptor but you have to check the size of the original DVD. If the disc is a dual-size (9.x GB) then you will need a dual-sided disc. If not then you have to use DVD shrink to decrease the size of the movie/disc to one side (4.7GB). Once you shrink the movie through DVD shrink you can burn it directly from there. DVD shrink gives you the option during the original job to choose the destination where you will choose how to make the copy of the disc. It may actually give you the option of DVD decryptor and Nero (it detects some disc burning programs that your computer has installed).

If burning a dvd then use dvd decryptor and then shrink and then Nero 8 if needed.

I know that dvd decryptor and clone dvd to burn it to disc are the quickest. That's what I've heard. 1 hour to do it.

To copy copyright material is illegal but a backup one copy is alright of all software or dvd's, etc.
