Because wives are insensitive to their husbands' emotional needs.

--> Some do, Some don't. Either way, open communication always helps.

"Why are husbands so insensitive to a wife's small emotional needs?"

--> Several reasons:

-- --> We don't know what they are.

-- --> When we do know, we're not sure how to address it.

-- --> When we have tried, we have gotten shot down.

-- --> We don't like getting shot down. It is frustrating because when we try, we're vulnerable.

Really, in the end, we speak two different languages that sound the same.

For instance, when I worked in East Boston, I ordered an Aranchini(Rice ball with some cheese-n-stuff in the middle). They asked me "Would you like Gravy on it?". Why not have Gravy(chicken or beef) on my Rice-ball ? When I got back to the office, I was disappointed because they had put their "Gravy" on it. Their Gravy was pasta sauce.

A little communication and knowing what to expect when I asked for "Gravy" resolved the issue.

It's a tough road for both sometimes. Little victories.

Guys are not mind readers and cannot guess that you are upset because you broke a nail or the heel on your favourite shoe; these are silly things.

Just buy another shoe or file your nail already and move on.

What do you consider "small" emotional needs? is it anything serious or are you being a drama queen in need of attention also known as a high maintenance girl.

We all have ways we feel we need to be loved and maybe you two are not loving each other in the right way. Ive recently read a book called The Five Love Languages and it explains things to the "T". It explains how our spouses and even ourselves dont know how to make the other feel loved and why and how to communicate that love to each other. Maybe you should check this out. I found it very inspiring.

They`re not, you just keep finding ones who are. You know the saying , " Good men are hard to find?"

Emotions govern a woman`s mind,it`s the way you are built. A good man knows this and should be caring towards the feelings of the woman, especially his wife. He should treat her as a Queen, provided she does not take advantage of it. This is what a good man does. I know, because I am a good man.

Not all husbands are insensitive ? It really depends on the person and how much he cares about the wife...

No; but women expect[from the guy's angle] that men can read their minds. Men don't have a woman's intuition because they are men. Men need to be told things that they can't automatically know. After that, all's well.

Well to start men are not emotional creatures. They show their emotions differently...If you have issues with the hubby about this and you need him to be there for you more...girl you sit him down and tell him...He may not even notice he is doing this...Teach him.

i think we expect too much and they have no idea what we want. our guys in the world are too inexperienced and we thinkthey are the world.
