How Do You Disassemble and Clean Fuel Injectors on A 2.2 S-10??

Some fuel injectors you can take apart..the small "plastic cone" covering the tip of the injector will come off,but you will more than likley break it..the best thing to do is run some Chemtool B-12 ( Wal-Mart) through a couple tanks of gas..or pay and have the injectors cleaned at a local ASE cert. shop.

The injectors are un-serviceable. Meaning they cannot be disassembled. Run a good quality cleaner through the fuel system. GM makes an excellent one that you can get from the dealership. AMSOIL also makes a very good one. Or get an fuel system cleaning from the dealership or reputable mechanic.
