I would think less of myself for not raising him the way I should have.
Trust me, that would not happen, we all have a relationship with God, once you have that, you just know.

No I would not. A christian is not a judge of character. I would pray for my child and I would beg with my child to reconsider. If my child said Dad, I will never talk to you again if you bring it up. I will not bring it up but would be forever in prayer for my child.
I love my wife and children second only to God. No matter what they did I would always love them even if I disagreed with what they do or did.

I would think no less of my child no matter what they chose- whether to be atheist or to be gay or lesbian- I would love my child regardless- obviously pushing them away would not help them come to know Christ so why do it? You are supposed to love everyone and judge nobody

We, as Christians, have to accept certain facts and one of them is that each individual person must make the decision to accept or reject Jesus Christ for themselves.
But then again if we raise a child in the ways of the Lord they will not stray far or forever.

In no way would I think less of my child because of errant thoughts. Atheism is a cyclical fad.

I would continue to love him, however I would pray for him constantly. Since I am a believer the idea of my son having to stand before the judgment of a holy God and be told depart from me because I never knew you would be enough to keep me on my knees till he returned to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. But truth be told I would love him all the more, kind of like a parent with a child who has a terminal illness.

I would love them no less but I would have expected more sensibleness from them. To me to believe there is no God is to lie to yourself.

My parents haven't disowned me.
But, they certainly disagree with my lack of belief.
They have no arguments against it, but when you've practiced a religion for 80 years, it's kinda' hard to stop. It moves from faith to tradition.

if my child would come up to this conclusion on his own i wouldn't, if he comes up with arguments i would be happy i have a smart child

I would respect his reasoning if he could back up his decision - as long as it wasn't "i don't know...it's cool to be"
Free thinking should ALWAYS be respected.
