I need help with a health problem that might be controled by herbs...as it is I don't have health care insurance and can't get med's I need through a doctor. I was dignosed with with the condiction but don't know if herbs can help me and even if they can...how to know how much to take or in what form? You can buy them in the USA and treat yourself.

My good friend is a professional herbalist, she is currently in her final year at uni. If you email me your condition and any kind of extras she may need to know, i can get in contact with her tonight (we're in england) and she can recommend not only the herbs you need, but also where you can get them (online shops sell them often enough, and hopefully your state won't check your mail...). She will also need to know what meds you are already on, as it may be too dangerous to mix chemical meds and herbal meds...and it's never a good idea to come off your existing meds unless your doc tells you to...

I find it very narrow minded and idiotic for a state to ban herbs, when in fact modern medicene came about because of them...herbal remedies often work much better than chemicals.

You must live in California. That's the only state in the U.S. that bans any particular herbs from being sent into the state. It's rather ridiculous, too, because Proposition 65 was intended for good reason, because many babies were being born with birth defects. However, the requirements they put on it (like 0 lead content in all products) may sound nice..... but it makes everything grown in the state illegal because there's trace amounts of lead in all water (which is acceptable levels according to the EPA), and just restricts safe things from being sent in.

There are some of our customers that live in California that have a delivery address just outside of the state lines.... not that I condone that, but some customers do it.

Now, if you don't live in California, then I think someone's giving you the wrong information, as it's not illegal to take herbs anywhere in the U.S...... although some places might not have practitioners, it's not illegal by any state's regulations.

In any case, if you're wondering about any particular herbs, E-mail me and let me know... I'm sure we can find something.
