Fraud HELP!!!?
OK so my gf found this dog in Decatur, GA for $400, the seller (Natasha Miles) said that she would take 300 for it since it was going to be a present for someone. To make a long story short, my gf paid the $300 then natasha said that we would have to pay a $150 for insurance to put the dog on the plane in case of emergency. We sent that and then she said that she would change the flight to a later time. She had all of the information that we needed but every since i sent that last payment , she hasn't emailed me back. Is there any way we can get our money back after she's already received the payment?? HELP!!!!

It depends on how you paid her. Did you send a wire transfer? Wire transfers are completely non-reversible so your money is gone. If you paid with a bank money order or cashier's check you can put a stop payment on the check, but only if you do it immediately, before she cashes it. If you paid via credit or debit card, it is easy to dispute the charge with your card company.

Since the amount seems to be only $450, you could sue her in small claims court without a lawyer. (This belongs in law & legal, not in credit). But if you are far enough away that the dog would be going by plane and not by car, it might be more trouble than it is worth for $450.
Next time, save your money and get a dog for free from an animal shelter.

umm probably not.. if u have the persons email address or a phone # or address then u can probably contact the police.. but there gonna look at u and ur gf like dumb dumbs cause why would u conduct business like that w/someone u don't know.. unless u were able to meet that person and pick the dog up in person u shouldn't be sending any money.. hope u got ur money order, check or credit card receipt u used.. be prepared to be assssed out of $450
