I am not sure about the percentage, but in fact mentee’s answer is really strange, I really understand the feeling when you see a lot of expatriates in your country, and I know how you feel jealous when you see expatriate driving a good car, but make no mistake that this car is not given to him free, and this expatriate if he didn’t work in your country he will not die from hunger and he will not be a beggar in the streets, be sure he will work in any other place in the world, and you should know that you are not doing a favor for him to work in your country, because he is working to help you to develop your country, I don’t know how old are you but you ask any Saudi his age 30 years old and above he will tell you all his teachers where expatriates, go to aramco and sabic and the other industrial companies you will find that all the professionals are expatriates because this companies are not finding qualified Saudis to replace them.
You are an educated person and you should understand that the Saudi economy is very strong, and really if the labor low will be more flexible your country will develop faster and faster. And finally the beneficiary is you not the expatriates.
I am an expatriate working in Saudi Arabia, and I know really who is causing the traffic problems, I don’t think you are fair in your judgment.

there are more foreigners (collectively from Egypt, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, etc) that there are actual Saudi citizens.. its a mess now.. I certainly wish the government here (Im a Saudi) would do something about this issue.. The roads are horrific and its mostly due to foreigners who dont know the driving laws.. Saudi is rated as #2 for worst driving in the world..
