My friend needs to re-install but has lost the CD - what can he do?

Well, he's pretty much stuck with replacing the CD somehow. He should be able to buy a copy of Tiger at a discount now that Leopard is out (try Amazon). Or if he has a friend with a full Tiger install CD (as opposed to the CD that came with a Mac--they only work on the particular model they come with) he could use that.

wait and buy Leopard when it comes out today in 3 hours from now.
