ATV trails in southeast or central New Mexico.?

I spend a lot of time in that area with my off road vehicles and know a few you can access.

First off, find out where all the BLM land is near you. Study the maps. It's public land and the pubic has an inherent right to access, although mororized usage is limited in some areas that are clearly advertised as such, like bike trails and hiking trails. Other areas are open for hunting, exploring, prospecting, shooting, camping, satanic rituals, whatever, etc. They may not speciffically be atv trails, but how do you think the few people that use them get there....atvs and jeeps. Sometimes there are unlocked gates accessing the BLM land off of roads and highways that you just open and enter. But you need to know where they are..... I'll bet you have driven past a number of these along highways in the area. While you are there, scout the oryx herds for me, would you?

South central NM has some of the best rock crawler trails in all of the US. Anywhere there's full sized off road vehicle trails there's good ATV riding in the obligitory "trail next to the trail".
