Are the top contributors top?

When I answer a question

I go with what I know... and build on it. Especially in pain and pain management. I never say take this drug or that drug or say exactly what to do, because of the simple fact that people sue people.

So by stating what you know and backing it up with PLZ check with your Doctor- the ones that actuall DO know i feel that it is covered. and especially because it is the internet.. there are SO MANY UNKNOWNS..

Why not just direct them to where they should ask the question? The internet is great but doesnt take the place of true life experience or talking to someone. that can investigate further as to what is going on

My contribution on YA - well yes I show a Top Contributor, but i know it was because I "met the requirement" I like to help and if people ask me I answer. Cannot tell you the hours of chat I have had outside of answers on my own and "not for points'

By no means I am not TOP, but it is a goal that i reached and the catagories that i have achieved this in are not all displayed - so what.. i had it for pain and pain management and an example is that - I was so proud of that - if felt like i was helping. I have had medical training,as a Nurse's aide, i was 1 semester short of being a nurse, but I got injured...I have kept studying, but alot was experience. so no I was not TOP that is ok. so I refer them to the TOP in the profession!

Hope this makes sense, i am the first to admit -NOPE - I AM NOT TOP! just feels kinda good! to know I helped someone solve what they needed at the time

THE GUIDELINES STATE--if it is not an attempt to answer the question it contravenes the guidelines and can be reported.This means that sending/referring you to a link, or making any comment, or asking a question, in reply to your question, is a violation of the guidelines and you may violate it.Agreeing with the content of a question is also a violation ,as is saying yeah or nope etc.I have had violations for all these but i learnt my lesson and dont do it any more.There is more than one way to skin a cat though.

It dfepends on which top contributors you are talking about.

I have a blue car, will gold wheels look good on it or will they just look gay?

Some of them often answers these questions that they really don't know like that...but some like me simply don't answer questions that they really don't know!
