Avanti, Summit, Hotpoint, Premier, Who makes the Best Gas Range?
I am looking at 20 in gas ranges. I have run across only a four consumer reveiws.
Two were bad. One maufacturer was felt to just allow their name to be placed on the stove while the quality was not so good. And the other said that their stove broke in just after a year and they would not recommend that brand.
I can't remember which brand it was.
Do you own one of these brand stoves? Do you like it?
Thank you for your help. I would much rather listen to someone who bought an appliance than someone who is reviewing an appliance who may have been paid by the manufacturer or someone who is trying to sell it.

My sister owns a KitchenAid gas cooktop. She and my brother are both chefs and they absolutely love that cooktop. They have had it for three years and haven't had any problems with it at all. Only problem with KitchenAid though is it is very expensive, but it is truly the best.
If you want to go for something that works just as well but is considerably cheaper, go with LG. I own an LG gas range and it works really well for me. Cooks my food quickly and efficiently which is really important because I cook nearly everything my family eats. Have had it for two years and no problems yet.

I have just replaced a Kenmore gas stove with a Whirlpool gas range and I will never buy a gas stove again. I know you always hear that good cooks prefer gas stoves. Well that's true, but to get the result that is preferred you must buy a high end gas stove. If you want good performance at a reasonable price, your best choice is electric...........and that's from Julia Child!

The beer summit meeting was as bright and effective as the man that proposed it. (meaning, it was stupid, inneffective, unnecessary, and a feeble attempt by an idiot to try and cover up his foot in mouth disease.) And it showed the fact that he's gonna play the race card every chance he gets. Like I said several months ago....he's NOT MY president.
