Charles Edward Stuart (Bonnie Prince Charlie) led an army against the English throughout 1745 and at the Battle of Culloden, which was fought on Drumossie Moor, to the north east of Inverness, on April 16, 1746. It was the last of the great Jacobite risings - popular attempts to reinstate a Stuart monarch on the throne of Britain.
He led from the back during the battle, as most royalty is always apt to do, in order to make good his escape if necessary (it was).

Actually the last King of England to lead an army on the battlefield was George II at Dettingen in 1743. I think Haile Selassie may be the last king to lead troops personally in battle against the Italians in 1936.

The French emperor Louis Napoleon III led the French army at the Battle of Sedan, 1870, during the Franco-Prussian War. The actual commander-in-chief was a Gen. McMahon, but the emperor led one wing of the army. Wikipedia may have details on all these things and people.

Faction Leaders
Perhaps Eamon De Valera who fought as a private in the Irish Civil War taking the view that he was a politician not a general so didn't lead leaving military matters to generals.
Castro in Cuba.
King, harder to say, do you count the kings of minor nations in which case several african 'chieftans' in Q Victoria's called themselves kings and stil led their warriors in person.

In American history, I think the only president to lead troops from the front as president was Madison in the war of 1812.
At the same time, the Emperor Napoleon led forces until Waterloo in 1815.
