do you think the university of hawaii will make the bcs bid?

With them having a easy schedule and the fact they are ranked #14 and are defeated.

If they win out, then they deserve a BCS bowl invite. Much is made about their strength of schedule, however, running the table is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT, no matter which conference a team plays in. Parity in college football is crucial to its growth, so let's embrace a smaller school like Hawaii which obviously has many disadvantages(i.e. recruiting, facilities, geography,etc.etc.etc...) compared to the larger BCS schools. Why hate on the underdog? Things will play out as they should. Win & they're in. Lose & they will not have a place with the top tier teams. I'm rooting for them.

After they lose to Boise State on 11/23 Hawaii and BCS bowl won't be mentioned in the same sentence again.

  • because of their easy schedule, and staying undefeated they will continue to climb up in the polls- but no, they won't get a bcs bid. they might deserve it, but that's just like boise state last year. i'd love to see them in the national champ but since it costs so much to take good teams out to hawaii to play them, they lose commits and end up with a schedule way to easy for them to prove themselves.
