Hello, Word documents and almost any file can be burnt onto a CD-R once the document has been saved. So the answer to your question is absolutely this process can be done in a couple of ways. But make sure that your CD ROM has burn capabilities or it will not work.

    • You could use the drag and drop method, by simply having the folder with the document in it open and the CD-R open you can drag the item from one folder to the CD ROM to burn, then once all the files that you want burnt are on the CD-R then click on write these files to disk.

    • You could right click on the document and the click send to DVD/RW Drive or CD-RW Drive then click on the folder when asked and click write these files or folders to disk.

Now remember that each CD-R can hold up to 750MB.

CD R means that you can only save on the cd once and for all however, there is an another type of cds: CD RW, you can save and delete data from it for about 5 to ten times depending on the quality

yes u can.. if its not RW than u cant overwrite or rewrite.. but yes u can.. it's called a data cd... put the cd in the drive... click and drag the file into the the cd drive folder (from my computer).. and than hit write these to cd...ull figure it out.

Not directly, you would have to first save to your HD, then burn the document to a CD-R.

    Absolutely... yes.

However, if it's not a CD-RW, you will not be able to edit the document at all.
