Enzo Ferrari started building sportscars in 1947 after he sayed to Alfa Romeo that he will make better cars then them.
Because of his vision he challanged Alfa what happend to him self with Lamborgini.

Enzo Ferrari was a mule skinner who wanted to be a racing driver. He worked and raced for a while for Alpha Romeo before setting up his own car makers - taking the Alpha technical team with him.
