I am an atheist because I don't believe in gods. What would evidence of a god not existing look like? Would it perhaps look like: Absolutely no evidence that they do? The universe giving every indication of being a natural occurrence? Prayers not being answered and true believers starving to death? Disease, parasites which feed on human eyeballs existing? Different cultures having different gods which share their values rather than the same god being discovered by people all over the place as happens with things which do exist? Most of the worlds species having gone extinct? Asteroids, natural disaster, severe drought, famine, flood hitting earth and destroying life? Human beings having evolved from other life forms which no god ever has said? No god ever knowing things the people did not know and getting a lot of stuff wrong? Some gods being witnessed being invented - see cargo cults?

Since there is an inverse correlation between intelligence and belief in some sort of god, it is to be expected that questions or answers from believers would be more prone to grammatical or other linguistic errors, as well as the usual logical faults.

Seems like the lower the education, the higher the level of belief in Christianity. Thus, the less degree of good common sense and the ability to use spell check and typing a coherent sentence.

I don't think its just Christians. I think most people butcher the English language.

As Atheists we put a strong emphasis on reading and learning.

I think its kinda rude when people use improper English. When people say "supposibly" instead of "supposedly", or "pacifically" instead of "specifically" it makes my skin crawl. I want to say to them, "If you love this country so much, take some time to learn the language." I don't correct them though, because that would be rude too.

Oh, and its not hisself, Its himself. Hisself isn't a word.

I think some people just get very passionate about what they are saying and somehow forget to spell check, I just try to ignore it. And I am a believer and a very good speller.

You mean like the person who just asked everyone if the "belevie" in god, then in the details spelled it "beleive"? I think she makes a case for her side.

    Bettier...that's hilarious.

    Without doubt.

    Inarguably.

Seems the bigger the believer, the worse the spelling and grammar.

    What is your talking about?

    ***UPDATE***

LoL, the poor grammar disease inflicts atheists as well as theists, btw.
