In order to get the best signal i recommend a cable or satelite box from your service provider which will give you the correct outputs. If you do not have a service provider you will neen an antenna and a tuner box to get stations. The tuner box will only be as good as the antenna so be sure to have a good outside antenna not just rabit ears.

huh? Is it a TV or a portable DVD player? Model numbers would help greatly if you really want detailed help. A TV by definition already comes equipped with at least 1 tuner otherwise it's just a monitor. If it's just a portable DVD player, to hook up a tuner to it, you have to make sure the tuner and display have matching connectors (i.e. tuner should have video out, dvd needs video in and you're responsible for connecting them together) Also, the need for an antenna is always there for tuners... so depending where you're located you'll need to connect to the useless rabbit ears or if you're far from the station, a big rooftop antenna. This is why portable TVs never really took off, by the way :)

    Good luck

The TV probably already has a tuner. The antenna would be for signals over the air, otherwise you could plug in a cable TV cable box, or your satellite receiver.

If you're going to use the antenna, a larger antenna can help bring in a stronger signal but chances are, if you're looking at that small of a TV, you're probably not going to be in a location where there's a lot of TV signals to begin with...
