Are you using Yahoo mail??
Is your mail counter showing 3 new mails ?? (that you can't locate)
With you inbox open---look above the delete tab, for----"View all messages". Click the down arrow and choose "unread messages".
That will find AND display--(if any)--unread mail in a separate window.

Ray...
If you have Yahoo mail and you check your 'Options' settings under Bulk...you may have checked to delete Bulk Mail as soon as it arrives.
In this case you will receive a notification that it is there, or has arrive...and when you check it is already deleted by Yahoo.
To see ALL Bulk Mail, simply unselect the box that is checked to delete immediately.

ps...if you dont have Yahoo, but another service..then check with your isp.
